Salah Admits He’s Still Building Chemistry with Liverpool’s New Attack

Mohamed Salah has admitted he is still adapting to Liverpool’s new-look attack following a huge summer overhaul. The Reds spent around £450m to bring in Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, and Alexander Isak, with the latter joining after the international break. Their arrivals coincided with the departures of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, while Diogo Jota tragically passed away in a car crash.

Ekitike has made a strong start, scoring twice in his opening Premier League games, and Liverpool have begun the season with three straight wins over Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Arsenal. However, the performances have been less convincing, with late goals and a Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick bailing them out. Salah, who scored against Bournemouth and set up Rio Ngumoha’s winner at St James’ Park, told the Men In Blazers podcast it will take time to develop chemistry with his new teammates.
