Another "hot development" involving Szymanski, who has drawn attention from several teams and is "about to leave" Fenerbahce for a "club record fee," is reportedly being reported by Aksam in Turkey. After gaining notice for his exploits with Feyenoord in the Eredevisie last season, Szymanski signed a €9.75 million contract with Fenerbahce, but he is currently "preparing to sign for the Serie A giant" Milan, with whom he was also connected last month.
The 24-year-old midfielder is reportedly "very close" to signing with Milan, who have offered to pay him €18 million, despite the Istanbul club demanding €28 million to release him. The Rossoneri will up their offer to Fenerbahçe, and it's thought that a deal for €25 million might be reached for a player who has played 45 games this season with 12 goals and 14 assists.
