Stuttgart concedes late goals to Hoffenheim in 2-1 loss

Stuttgart enjoyed a one-goal lead over their Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim but ended up conceding two late goals to the opponent and slid down the table. It will be a heavy loss for Stuttgart who finds itself involved in a relegation battle now after their nine games winless run in Bundesliga. Christoph Baumgartner’s individual efforts were rewarded with an 85th-minute equalizer and then he grabbed the winner as well and pushed Hoffenheim to the Champions League qualification spot.

Sebastian Hoeneß' team is performing better than last season where they added just 11 wins last season, so far in the Bundesliga games, this season they are at 12 wins and still have 10 more games left to add more wins to the table. American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side would have to rally to climb out of the relegation zone.
