AC Milan and Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement worth €30 million for the transfer of French international left-back Théo Hernandez, according to Foot Mercato. The 27-year-old defender is entering the final year of his contract with the Rossoneri, prompting the Italian club to consider a sale this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year. French outlet Sports Zone reports that Hernandez is Al-Hilal’s top defensive target for the current transfer window.
While an agreement in principle with the player is close, negotiations are ongoing regarding personal terms. Hernandez is reportedly demanding a salary of €20 million per year, while Al-Hilal's latest offer stands at around €15 million. The former Real Madrid man is currently at Clairefontaine with the French national team as they prepare to face Spain in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals in Stuttgart on Thursday.
