Arsenal was seriously considering Premier League Newbie, Timothy Castagne before his recent move to Leicester City at £21 million was announced.
The Atalanta’s defender had also piqued the interest of Tottenham Hotspur but their deal fell through because of the high pay off.
The Belgium International was being considered by Arsenal as a replacement for Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac. Since Castagne is quite a versatile player he was even being wooed by PSG as well.
