Torino moved to the top of Serie A after a 3-2 win over 10-man Verona

After the visitors took the lead through Antonio Sanabria in the tenth minute, Grigoris Kastanos of Verona tied the score two minutes later. Pawel Dawidowicz was sent off for elbowing Sanabria in the area, leaving the hosts down to 10 men. The Torino player missed a penalty kick to extend his score, though.

A player who receives a penalty is not allowed to score from rebounds if the goalie hasn't touched the ball, therefore even though Sanabria put the rebound in the net, the goal was disallowed. Verona could not hang on for long, though, as Duvan Zapata headed Torino ahead on 33 minutes, and late in the second half, Che Adams added the third goal with a beautiful strike from beyond the box that all but ended the match.
