Tottenham and Aston Villa in talks to sign Adrien Rabiot

Tottenham Hotspur have been added to the list of clubs interested in Olympique de Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot (30).

With transfer deadline day fast approaching, Rabiot’s future is unresolved. On the opening day of the Ligue 1 season, he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with Jonathan Rowe. Both were subsequently placed on the transfer list. Rowe has already left, joining Bologna on a permanent deal.

Rabiot is also being invited to leave amid a very public falling out. However, Roberto De Zerbi extended an olive branch.  “I hope there are the conditions to repair things,” said the Italian. It is not impossible for the France international to be reintegrated into the set-up, although it would require an apology from the player, Get French Football News understands.

In the meantime, Rabiot is attracting plenty of interest. AC Milan, Tottenham, and Aston Villa are all in talks with the midfielder’s entourage.
