Tottenham Hotspur has been connected to a deal for Matt O'Riley, a midfielder for Celtic, but they now have competition from AS Roma as well as teams from England, Spain, and Germany. O'Riley attended the Fulham Academy and was born and reared in London. However, in the summer of 2020, the Cottagers dismissed him. After that, he had to wait more than six months to be selected by MK Dons; nonetheless, he signed for Celtic in less than a year.
The Danish international is now a three-time SPL champion with 121 appearances for the Scottish team, 27 goals and 34 assists (Transfermarkt). It's interesting to note that O'Riley was first brought to Glasgow by Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou. Although West Ham is rumored to be interested as well, it appears that the Australian is eager to sign O'Riley once more (GiveMeSport).
