Toulouse reinstate Aboukhlal, who denies making misogynistic comments

Zakaria Aboukhlal guarantees that "the comments reported by RMC Sport do not reflect what really happened on April 30 at the Capitol".

The Moroccan forward denies having made misogynistic comments against Laurence Arribagé, regional deputy for the city of Toulouse, during a ceremony organized at the Salle des Illustres du Capitole. After the French Cup final, won by TFC against Nantes (5-1), the deputy would have asked the players to make less noise during a speech.

"At home, women don't talk to men like that", the player would have said then. “After the article published by RMC, on May 15th, I had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Laurence Arribagé. During this conversation, we both confirmed that the information from RMC Sport does not correspond to what actually happened (…). We would like to put an end to this controversy”, in the denial published by Aboukhlal on social networks.
