Watford and Newcastle United continue negotiating over Joao Pedro

Watford is fending off interests from Newcastle United when it comes to Brazilian youngster Joao Pedro. The 20-year-old Vicarage Road star is being pursued by both sides currently. Hornets do not want the player to leave the side while United has already made a £ 20 million bid for the player and is ready to put in another one. Watford had not named their price for the player as the team must also factor in the fact that Pedro's old club would also need a 10% cut of any sale.

Newcastle’s approaches have till now been a dead end as Watford is not ready to let go of the player but the idea to play alongside Brazilian duo Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton is quite enticing for the South American.
