West Ham defeats Brentford FC by 1-0

After a prolonged losing streak, West Ham took seven attempts to win the Brentford vs. West Ham game on Saturday evening at the Gtech Community Stadium. Said Benrahma came off the bench for West Ham to eliminate old club Brentford from the FA Cup. With only 11 minutes left in the game, he netted a late goal.

The Hammers had a strong first half of activity and managed to keep things 0-0 at halftime. However, after Declan Rice's excellent midfield challenge on Yoanne Wissa, Benrahma took control of the ball and struck a superb long-range shot past Thomas Strakosha to give his team a satisfying 1-0 victory.

Brentford has no chance left and they can only play Premier League football this year. West Ham, on the other hand, advances to the fourth round after winning for the first time since November 3.
