Aleix Garcia, a midfielder for Girona, has received a £3.4 million salary package from West Ham after he was left out of the Spain squad for Euro 2024. Garcia was left off of Luis de la Fuente's final 26-man roster, so he will have to decide between staying with Girona and joining the Hammers or Bayer Leverkusen. Julen Lopetegui is willing to accept a bid of more than £15 million to sign Garcia because he is so eager to get Garcia to the London Stadium.
West Ham will have a tough time getting the player’s signature as both Bayer Leverkusen and his present team Girona had a fantastic season in their respective leagues. Girona earned a spot in the Champions League, while the latter won the Bundesliga without dropping a game. Therefore, it could be wiser for Garcia to stick with Girona or join Xabi Alonso's undefeated champions if he wants to reach the heights necessary to force his way back into the Spanish national team.
