West Ham United are in pole position to sign Niclas Fullkrug

According to Di Marzio's report [31 July], Milan hasn't contacted Dortmund after making an inquiry earlier this month. This makes it possible for the Hammers to sign Fullkrug, who is expected to depart BVB after just one season, with the last arrangements being made [Dharmesh Sheth, July 31]. "Milan continues to work carefully on the market," stated Di Marzio. Füllkrug will head to West Ham for the attack.

"The Rossoneri club ceased operations at the beginning of July following an initial survey and contacts. Thus, the German player will join the Premier League. With Fullkrug, West Ham is poised to acquire what can be rightly called a mystery in Premier League parlance. Nevertheless, Fullkrug's goal scoring record is impressive; during his Bundesliga tenure with Werder Bremen, he averaged 0.5 goals per game, which was enough to win him a transfer to Dortmund.
