Who are Barcelona signing for this season?

The Barça team has undergone significant change this summer as the Spanish football manager Xavi works to create a group that can compete for titles despite tremendous financial obstacles. The club has added five new players for a total of more than €150 million while also managing to move on seven players on permanent contracts and loan out another five. The most recent was Samuel Umtiti, who will play for Lecce until next summer.

Five more players could yet resign. Memphis Depay, who has been on the verge of completing a free transfer to Juventus for some time, is most likely to come next. However, Chelsea is interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Manchester United is still interested in Frenkie de Jong.

Officials at Camp Nou are reportedly still considering further wage reductions for seasoned trio Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, which might increase their spending power.
