Yann Sommer was named 'MVP' of the match against Barcelona. The Inter Milan goalkeeper made some meritorious saves and considered it the best game of his career.
Switzerland's Yann Sommer, one of Inter Milan's key players against Barcelona to advance to the Champions League final, a late hero in goal, said his save from Lamine Yamal was the most “special” of the night.
“I'm very happy, it was an incredible game. The team has done something tremendous tonight,” Sommer, the UEFA ‘MVP’ of the match, told ‘Sky Sport’. He did not hesitate to highlight his game: “Yes, I think this has been the best game of my career”.
“The last save against Lamine is a very special one. He's a very strong player who always goes inside and shoots. I'm very happy it didn't go in,” he added.
The goalkeeper will play in his first 'Champions' final.
