In Today's football, top manager such as Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola, give out the impression that they can't withstand more than three or four years with any club they coach. This is mainly because of all the soul and massive effort they put into making all their players give their absolute best, we all know that neither of them will be in Manchester for more than that. In Mourinho's case, this could be beneficial for Ryan Giggs who is one of United's most respected legends.
The Welshman was already convinced that if Manchester United decided to bring Mourinho, he would leave the club because he understood that it was his time to become the team's manager. But he has reportedly meditated on his decision and may end up holding on a seat at the board, until Mourinho delivers his three years in the contract he signed. It's not yet certain that Giggs will stay, but we'll know in the following days.
In the mean time, there are already some advocates of Ryan Giggs, one of them is former striker Dwight Yorke, who believes Giggs should be next after Mourinho. The former United striker spoke to Sky Sports News: "I think it's a difficult one for Giggsy, having been at the club for three years [as an assistant]. If you look around at other players who have been given the opportunity to manage huge clubs - Pep Guardiola, Zinedine Zidane, Diego Simeone - you'd have thought after three years...
"He has a wealth of experience but it was not to be. If I was in Giggsy's position, I'd put a clause in my contract to have the opportunity to be manager when Jose leaves the football club."
About Zlatan Ibrahimovic's possible arrival, Yorke was in favor: "I am a fan of Zlatan, he has been tremendous since he has been at PSG. He has been in terrific form and gets better with age. I am sure he's relishing the opportunity of playing in the Premier League. He has been everywhere else and would relish the chance to end his career at Old Trafford. They are both experienced [Mourino and Ibrahimovic] and I'm sure if Zlatan was to join Manchester United it would be a huge step in the right direction."
