A stoppage time goal salvages a draw for Brighton at Palace

Neil Maupay salvaged a point for Brighton as he pushed past Crystal Palace’s defensive line to fire home at the fifth minute of stoppage time. The team drew up against Crystal Palace with the stoppage-time goal to finish at 1-1 in the Premier League on Monday. Crystal Palace held back Brighton from going to the top of the table as they remain just one point behind Liverpool who lead the table at the moment with 14 points.

Brighton was hoping for a win at Selhurst Park but a draw is still better than nothing as the competition is tight at the top of the table this season. Earlier Wilfried Zaha had successfully converted a penalty in the first-half stoppage time. Brighton is now sixth on the table and is level on points with Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Everton.
