Everton's academy has produced players who have been sold for transactions totaling almost £60 million this year so far, providing an essential source of funding amid general unrest. The sale of two academy graduates may have improved Everton's ability to pay for a roster revamp. Ishe Samuels-Smith and Ellis Simms have recently left the club in multi-million-pound agreements.
