Aduana Stars lose to Dreams FC as title hopes fade away

Aduana Stars’ hopes of winning the 2022/2023 BetPawa Premier League trophy was once again dealt a heavy blow after defeat to Dreams FC on Saturday in a Match Week 32 encounter.

The Dormaa based-club were beaten 1-0 at home to leave them 4 points behind current league leaders Medeama Sporting Club, with just two games left to end the campaign.

Ali Huzaf scored the only goal of the game for Dreams FC in the 54th minute, to move the Dawu based club 5 points clear of the relegation zone with 44 points.

The result means that Aduana Stars who have been at the summit of the league for a number of weeks, will miss out on the trophy for a third time, if Medeama win their next game against Samartex in Match Week 33.
