Al-Hilal renew talks to sign Victor Osimhen

Al-Hilal, now out of the FIFA Club World Cup following their 2-1 defeat to Fluminense in the quarter-finals of the competition, are looking to advance their transfer plans. France international Theo Hernandez is expected to join from AC Milan soon, and the Saudi side’s attention will then turn to signing an attacker.

They have a long-standing interest in Nigerian forward Osimhen, who spent last season at Galatasaray. The Turkish club would like to retain the forward but they will face competition from Al-Hilal. In the event of failure to secure the Napoli forward’s signature, there are three contingency options.

Al-Hilal are already in talks with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, who looks to be a plan B. Should they fail to secure either player, there are two other targets: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Al-Qadsiah FC) and Youssef En-Nesyri (Fenerbahçe).
