An emphatic win for Bologna, thanks to a last-minute own goal

Bologna was given a 3-2 victory in Serie A on Friday after Cristiano Biraghi scored a last-minute own goal on his debut for Torino. The ball struck the fleeing defender and whirled past his defenseless goalie with seconds left.

After a rocky run in the later weeks of 2024, Torino stabilized their form with six draws and a victory from their last seven games, but it was a disaster for the new Fiorentina signing and their first loss in eight games. In the 20th and 70th minutes, Dan Ndoye scored twice for the home team, Bologna. Earlier, in the 37th minute, Nikola Vlasic scored a goal of his own to cancel off Ndoye's first goal. Eljif Elmas, a Leipzig striker on loan, gave Torino a 2-1 lead 20 minutes into the second half. As a result, Torino dropped to 11th position while Bologna moved up one spot to seventh.
