Antonio Conte, has been advised to recruit Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos instead of Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin in order to prioritize experience. Using his contacts in England, former Tottenham manager Conte has assisted Napoli in acquiring players who are well-known to supporters of Premier League teams, such Scott McTominay, Romelu Lukaku, and Billy Gilmour. The manager is expecting that the Napoli executives would increase his alternatives for defense during the January transfer window, which has sparked rumors of a surprise move for Dragusin.
The center defender only signed with Tottenham in January, but Napoli is reportedly hoping to sign him because he isn't a consistent starter under Ange Postecoglou. However, Enrico Fedele, an Italian journalist, is not persuaded by this action. He has outlined the reasons Napoli need to pass on Dragusin in favor of finalizing a formal agreement for Ramos, a free agent who was once a star for Real Madrid.
