Arne Slot is looking to sign a striker and Victor Osimhen is the perfect fit

In just ten days, Arne Slot changed the conversation surrounding Liverpool's transfer window from one of disappointment and resentment towards Trent Alexander-Arnold for signing a free agent contract to one of ecstasy at the Premier League record signing of Florian Wirtz. With a superstar striker next on the shopping list, there should be more to come.

With more withdrawn centre forwards (or true false nines) like Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota, who would contribute goals but also play a significant role in providing support to the Reds' goal-scoring wingers, Liverpool saw spectacular success under Jurgen Klopp. Since 2016/17, Salah and Mane have dominated Liverpool’s golden boot race, leaving little room for Firmino or Jota. However, that could change if the Reds succeed in a bold move for Victor Osimhen.
