Arsenal and Roma are eyeing Houssem Aouar this summer

AS Roma has already hired the services of Nemanja Matic and the player will officially be a part of Roma once his contract expires with his current club, later this month. However, Mourinho is still hunting for another midfielder to strengthen his team. In the last season, Roma was taken to the Europa Conference League win. Roma is in the race with Arsenal to sign Houssem Aouar to enhance their squad.
Arsenal had tried to get the 23-year-old player last summer from Lyon but it was in vain. Roma has been giving serious thought to snatching the player away from Ligue 1. Mourinho is very persistent in the transfer market and it would be interesting to see which of the two teams could get Aouar to sign a deal.
