Arsenal has been in touch with Gabriel Carvalho's agent, who plays midfield for Internacional.
Saudi Arabian teams are showing interest in Carvalho, but according to reports, Arsenal has told the player's representation that they are prepared to match the Saudi bid of €22 million (£18.2 million) with a 20% sell-on clause. Carvalho can't join Arsenal until August 2025, when he turns 18, so the move won't happen anytime soon. The later part of next summer's window is most likely when the Gunners would really make a deal. Carvalho, who first advanced to senior football this season, has a contract with Internacional through December 2028. In 26 games for Internacional's first squad in 2024, the midfield player has contributed three assists and one goal. He was still establishing himself during the course of the previous 12 months, as evidenced by the fact that 11 of those appearances came off the bench.
