Tyrell Malacia, a Dutch international defender, will rejoin Manchester United next month after PSV announced they would not be extending his loan. Malacia made 12 appearances while on loan in Eindhoven during the second part of the previous season, helping them win the Eredivisie championship. However, PSV has announced that the 25-year-old will return to United on July 1 after he failed to persuade them to extend the loan agreement.
After missing more than a year due to a knee injury, Malacia made his comeback in November when United defeated Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. Despite making eight appearances under Ruben Amorim, he is currently considered surplus at Old Trafford. According to reports, the former Feyenoord defender is worth about £7 million, and United will be hoping to recover a portion of the £13 million they spent for him in 2022.
