Eintracht Frankfurt show interest in Darryl Bakola

Bakola has made a breakthrough into the first team at Marseille this season, however, opportunities have still remained limited. He has played just 24 minutes of first-team football, all of which have come off the bench in Ligue 1, even if he has been included in UEFA Champions League matchday squads.

The attacking midfielder was prevented from going to the recent U-20 World Cup in Chile, on the premise that he would get more first-team minutes at OM. However, that did not truly come to pass, and the France youth international is now questioning his future.

Bakola’s current deal with Marseille runs until 2027, making his situation one that needs urgently addressing, as per L’Équipe.

A Saudi Arabian club made a late bid for the player in the summer, one rejected by OM. Other clubs are now in the race, including Eintracht Frankfurt, who could make a move in January.
