Atalanta decided of parting ways with Ivan Juric following a disappointing start to the 2025/26 season, with Raffaele Palladino lined up to take over* as head coach on a contract reportedly running until 2027.
Ivan Juric, appointed in the summer of 2025, has overseen just four wins in 14 matches across all competitions.
Recent defeats to Marseille in the Europa League and Sassuolo in Serie A, coupled with reported tensions with star forward Ademola Lookman, have intensified scrutiny over his position.
Palladino, who guided Fiorentina to sixth place and Conference League qualification in 2024/25 before leaving in May, is expected to implement a possession-based attacking style, offering a sharp contrast to Juric's defensive approach.
Press reporting that also other names have been got in touch, like Roberto Mancini (who later decided for Qatar's Al-Sadd) or Thiago Motta, if Palladino would not find a deal.
