Barcelona all ready to let go of Sergino Dest?

In these last few days of the transfer window, Xavi has made it one of his top priorities to sign at least one fullback on either side. Although it seems like the left-back position is a priority, the club is also interested in recruiting a right-back because Xavi is dissatisfied with Sergino Dest. The American international simply hasn't lived up to his capacity, and Barcelona is willing to let him go if they can find a suitable successor. However, the club now has no real choices in the transfer market after missing out on their top target Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Foyth, due to difficulties in their pursuit of both players.

Barcelona has decided the Rennes captain is the best last-minute choice for the right-back position. They are aware of the defender's extensive Ligue 1 playing experience, having played in nearly 200 games, and they highly regard him for his leadership abilities.
