In an away game on Saturday, Spanish La Liga leaders Barcelona had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo. Raphinha, a Brazilian winger for Barcelona, opened the scoring in the first half. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski scored on a counterattack to give the visitors a two-goal advantage.
Up until midfielder Marc Casado was sent out for a foul in the 82nd minute, Barca appeared to be leading handily. But Alfon Gonzalez of Celta Vigo gave the home team the lead two minutes later. Gonzalez snatched the ball from his foot and scored in the penalty area after Barcelona central defender Jules Kounde made the grave error of holding onto the ball for too long. Later Hugo Alvarez, the winger for the home team, equalized two minutes later, sending Barcelona into a heartbreaking climax at Celta. Barcelona leads Atletico Madrid by five points with 34 points after 14 games.
