Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is eyeing a summer move for Dutch star Xavi Simons, according to Catalunya Radio. The promising attacker, once part of Barça’s famed La Masia academy, has re-emerged as a target amid the club’s reshuffled transfer priorities.
After missing out on top target Nico Williams—who recently renewed his contract with Athletic Club—Barcelona’s management, led by sporting director Deco, have turned their attention to alternatives such as Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford. Now, Flick has reportedly set his sights on Simons, a player who was also admired by former coach Xavi Hernández.
