Barcelona is working on the official deal to sign Azpilicueta

Barcelona seems like they have been on a roll during the summer transfer window as they have roped in Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen and Raphinha for their side. Also, they have renewed the contract of their player Ousmane Dembele to strengthen their squad in the new La Liga season. However, they are still not satisfied with their team and are now considering a player for the full-back position. Well, in the past few months, Barca has approached various players and now they seem to be very close to reality.

They are considering Cesar Azpilicueta and will be sending him an official contract proposal. The Spanish player wants to depart from Stamford Bridge in search of a new opportunity. Actually, Barcelona had made a deal with the player some months back, on personal grounds. He will have a two-year deal with Barcelona while having a choice to extend his contract for a year.
