Barcelona star set to miss 3-4 weeks with injury

This comes after the defender suffered a training ground injury. Balde’s name has taken its place front and centre in the headlines surrounding Barcelona across the day to date.

This comes after Barcelona released a sudden statement, confirming: ‘Defender Alejandro Balde suffered a slight injury to his left hamstring during today’s training session. His availability will depend on how he progresses.’

What was not confirmed in this announcement was just how long Balde is expected to be on the sidelines.

As alluded to above, though, an insight into precisely as much has since been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who has confirmed: ‘Balde. Three to four weeks. His last hamstring injury took a month to heal. Maximum caution and care.’
