Barcelona suffer blow as Jules Kounde forced off injured against Inter

After the defender was forced out due to injury against Inter, Barcelona received some really terrible news regarding Jules Kounde. Despite appearing unbeatable this season, the Frenchman has suddenly suffered an injury and will miss many crucial games.

Reporter Toni Juanmarti claims that Kounde will miss the La Liga Clasico with Real Madrid and the second leg against Inter because of a calf injury. Kounde has emerged as a key member of Hansi Flick's team, thus his absence will be a major blow to both games. The German will now need to consider his backline lineup for the upcoming games and may decide to make some adjustments. The good news is that Alejandro Balde is likely to return shortly at left-back, while Andreas Christensen made his long-awaited comeback against Inter.
