Something about the condition of Pau Cubarsi's injury

Preliminary medical examinations showed that the injury of young Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi is not serious, after he left the match against Newcastle in the 69th minute of the Champions League, to be replaced by Andreas Christensen.

The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that Cubarsi is suffering from some knee pain, but it is not a cause for concern, as he is likely to be available in the team list for the match against Getafe next Sunday in the fifth round of La Liga.

The newspaper clarified that the final decision regarding his participation remains pending, awaiting the results of additional medical examinations he has to undergo upon the team's return to Barcelona.

The newspaper concluded that coach Hans Flick is expected to give Cubarsi more rest against Getafe, fearing that he might suffer a setback that could keep him away from the team for a long time.
