With the Brazilian transfer window closing tonight, Barcelona’s young striker Vitor Roque is set to complete a move to Palmeiras. The 20-year-old, who struggled to make an impact at Barça and on loan at Real Betis, will return to Brazil after a difficult year in Spain. Barcelona will receive €25 million for 80% of Roque’s economic rights, plus €5 million in variables. To facilitate the move, Barça had to compensate Betis for terminating the loan, partly by ceding 30% of Ez Abde’s rights, giving Betis 80% ownership of the winger.
Additionally, journalist Gerard Romero reports that Barcelona have agreed to send a youth player to Betis in the summer. While Betis had shown interest in Pau Victor, it remains unclear if he will be the chosen player or if the move will be permanent or a loan.
