Bayern Munich to make Stuttgart a second offer for Nick Woltemade

Should that offer exceed €65m, then VfB will discuss internally about whether that fee is enough for them to hold ‘sit down’ talks with the Bundesliga champions.

This comes just days after Bayern Munich submitted an opening offer of €45m including bonuses to Stuttgart for Woltemade, which was swiftly rejected as it’s significantly lower than their valuation of the 23-year-old attacker, which stands at around €80m. With a contract until 2028, VfB remain in a strong negotiating position when it comes to the transfer fee, while there’s still hope at the club that the Germany international will remain at the Swabian club next season.

As reported by Bild, on June 8, Bayern held a meeting with Stuttgart via an online call and although no concrete figures were discussed, the Rekordmeister announced their intention to make an offer. That followed on June 10 with VfB rejecting their approach the following day.
