Bayern thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt to win seventh consecutive Bundesliga title

Bayern Munich beat Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 to clinch their seventh Bundesliga title in a row. Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery both scored in their last Bundesliga game for the Bavarians, as they will both depart the club this summer.

Kingsley Coman opened the scoring four minutes into the match and Bayern retained the lead until the second half when Sebastien Haller equalised. Eintracht kept the game level for just three minutes, before David Alaba made it 2-1 and Renato Sanches scored the third. Goals from Ribery and Robben followed as Bayern Munich ended the season just two points above Borussia Dortmund, who also won their last game.

Lucien Favre's side were leading the title race for months, but their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich back in April was the turning point for Niko Kovac's men, who went since unbeaten until the end of the season.
