Betis midfielder Isco Alarcon was named Conference League Player of the Season 2024-2025 by the UEFA Technical Observers Group, a day after the final in which English side Chelsea won the title by defeating the Sevillian side (1-4) in Wroclaw (Poland).
The 33-year-old Spanish midfielder played a key role in the Andalusian side's qualification for the first European final in their history, in which the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini's eleven dominated the first half and took the lead, but Chelsea came from behind in the second half.
2 goals in 9 games, with 3 assists, the third last night in the final, and 63 passes per 90 minutes are the figures for Isco, who will return next week to the Spanish national team after six years, to play in the Nations League finals, in which Spain defends the title in Germany.
