Braga came from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home with Union Berlin

In a dramatic Champions League Group C clash, ten-man Sporting Braga displayed resilience, coming from a goal down to secure a crucial 1-1 draw against Union Berlin, keeping their hopes alive for a spot in the last 16. Robin Gosens provided Union with the lead just before halftime, unleashing a low shot past Braga's goalkeeper Matheus. Braga responded in the second half, leveling the score through Alvaro Djalo's unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.

Braga faced adversity as Sikou Niakate received a red card after a VAR review for a foul on Union forward Kevin Behrens, leaving the Portuguese side with 10 men. Despite this setback, Braga remains third in the group with four points and still has a chance to advance if they beat second-placed Napoli by more than one goal in the final game.
