Nine-time back-to-back Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich has extended Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's contract with the club for two more years and would expire on 30 June 2023. The 32-year-old striker joined the Bundesliga side on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020. In his last season with the club, Cameroon international scored 9 times in 32 matches he played for Munich.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is extremely happy to stay at Allianz Arena for two more years with the champions and hopes to win the DFB Cup final in Berlin as well as lift the Champions League trophy with the club. Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski and Choupo-Moting's strike partner was selected as the Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2020/21 and even won the European Golden Boot with 41 goals in the previous campaign.
