Bundesliga: RB Leipzig tops the table

RB Leipzig displaced Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table Saturday. The credit goes to Dani Olmo's second-half goal. It was sufficient to seal a 1-0 victory at Stuttgart. With Bayern, European champions at home to Mainz, strugglers on Sunday, Leipzig took the opportunity to go a point ahead. Moreover, Olmo fired through the legs of Gregor Kobel, Stuttgart's goalkeeper.

Earlier, Stuttgart's Swiss shot-stopper had pulled off some heroics. He did it by using his foot to save a first-half penalty attempt by Emil Forsberg.Leipzig also dissipated a golden chance. It happened when Amadou Haidara hurled wide just after the break. With 23 minutes left, Olmo, Spain's midfielder finally got the breakthrough. He finally terminated the move. He began it after Leipzig had moved the ball across the Stuttgart penalty area.
