Callejon misses Spain but is happy at Napoli

Jose Maria Callejon made a difficult choice a couple years back, he left Real Madrid with the goal of someday returning as a triumphant player who could search for success once more in the club of his life. But things haven't worked out as he planned them, he has been important for Napoli where he has been a constant talent in service of the club, but he hasn't been good enough for Los Blancos to want him back.

During an interview with Diario AS, Callejon revealed he really misses Spain and would like to return someday, but he is happy at Napoli at the moment: "It is true that we miss Spain because the family, friends and people you love [are there]. Right now I am very happy [at Napoli]. I renewed my contract there for four years and I'm very happy."

Callejon is also happy to be back with the Spanish national team; "I never lost hope and I worked hard to get back. I always tried to do the best for my club, the rest was out of my hands. We [Napoli] have started well this season, both as a team and a personal level, so I hope to continue like this with Spain."
