Carlos Queiroz takes charge of Oman national team

The Oman Football Federation has officially announced the signing of a contract with Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz. The seasoned expert has now taken the reins of the country's national team.
The deal with the 72-year-old Queiroz runs for one year, with his primary focus on preparing the squad for the upcoming qualifying matches.
Queiroz brings a wealth of experience from both international and club football. Throughout his coaching career, he has led clubs like Sporting (Portugal), Real (Spain), Nagoya Grampus (Japan), MetroStars (USA). He also served as an assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
He also coached National teams like Portugal (youth and senior), UAE, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Colombia, Qatar.
