Catalans are determined to keep this footballer

Girona and FC Barcelona are two teams that are near to each other both geographically and athletically. Two of the Blaugranes' players—Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre—are under Michel's coaching, while another player owned by Girona is now a player at Barcelona.  This is Pau Victor, the player whom Michel loved at Girona as well. After Dubvic and Stuani, the 22-year-old was the Girona coach's third choice in the lineup. However, the striker joined Barcelona because he thought the chance to train at one of the best teams in the world was too good to refuse.

Victor accepted a second loan transfer to Barcelona this season as a career stepping stone after spending the previous season on loan at Sabadell. His tenure with the Blaugrana club has gone rather well so far; in 16 games, he has contributed two assists and 11 goals to rank as Barca Atletic's leading scorer.
