Lamine Yamal could feature in Barcelona's clash with Celta Vigo next weekend, as the Catalan club attempt to bring back the Spanish starlet quickly.
While Yamal managed to finish the 90 minutes against Crvena Zvezda, as he helped his side to a 5-2 Champions League win, it transpired after the match that he had picked up a grade one ankle syndesmosis, an injury that kept him out of the squad for the Catalans' subsequent game against Real Sociedad, in which they fell to a 1-0 loss.
Still just 17, Yamal has continued to out-perform even his staunchest of supporters, but with youth comes susceptibility to injury.
Barcelona have had similar problems in the past with injuries to young players. During Pedri's breakthrough season, the midfielder took part in 52 games for the club.
