Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a midfielder from Serbia, is the target of a transfer by Chelsea. Il Tempo (via Sport Witness) reports that the Blues are aiming to "bring in a midfielder or two" to strengthen Mauricio Pochettino's squad following the most recent mass purge. They have also "demonstrated interest" in signing Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. The 28-year-old, who joined Lazio from Genk eight years ago, is in the final year of his current deal. And given that the Biancocelesti are not making any headway in negotiations to extend his current contract, he may eventually transfer to the Premier League this summer after years of being constantly linked to such a move.
The former Chelsea striker and current agent of Milinkovic-Savic, Mateja Kezman, is now exploring options for his client. And Kezman has made Milinkovic-Savic available to a number of teams, including his old team.
