The West London club has made several acquisitions between the posts over recent transfer windows, yet they are still grappling with a lack of consistency in goalkeeping performance.
Robert Sanchez was named Chelsea's starting goalkeeper at the season's outset, but following a series of blunders, he has been replaced by Filip Jorgensen, who was brought in from Villarreal last summer.
However, according to Brown, Ramsdale remains an option under consideration by Chelsea, with the England international reportedly averse to playing in the Championship. He stated, "Chelsea are assessing their options in the transfer market. The challenge for them is the limited availability of top-class goalkeepers. One option being considered is Aaron Ramsdale. "
Brown continued, "From what I hear, Chelsea believes Ramsdale could be an upgrade over their current choices. He’s a competent goalkeeper, but whether he’s top-class is a decision for Chelsea to make.”
