Besiktas has submitted the first official offer to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen on loan until the end of the season, covering his full salary and including a non-binding purchase option worth 8 million euros.
According to the newspaper, Barcelona welcomes the goalkeeper's departure in January if the player agrees.
The newspaper explained that Besiktas is looking for a replacement for their goalkeeper Mert Günok and has been interested in ter Stegen since last summer, but the deal did not materialize due to his desire to stay and then because of his injury. It also confirmed ongoing communication between the two clubs and the player's agent.
The newspaper added that Besiktas' sporting director is trying to convince the goalkeeper to move to ensure regular playing time, goalkeeper may consider other options. Barcelona is waiting for the player's decision before proceeding with any official step.
