Levi Colwill won't be the subject of any bids from Chelsea this summer, according to writer Simon Phillips, who spoke with GIVEMESPORT. The Blues intend to maintain hold of the central defender, who is presently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion despite rumours of a permanent transfer to the Seagulls and other Premier League teams. Phillips said the Blues are planning to keep possession of the player. According to 90min, if Chelsea makes any hint that Colwill is available for transfer, Brighton will try to get him.
The same source asserts that in addition to the south coast club, Liverpool and Manchester City are also considering the 20-year-old. Colwill's asking price from Chelsea is still unknown, however a report from the Evening Standard in August of last year stated that the Blues valued the English teenager at about £20 million at the time.
